My New iMac

Just want to share the experience i had on a recently concluded Banner Ad making Contest

Last August 9 2010, I won a brand new 21.5" iMac, I won it from a banner ad making contest and out of 400 entries i was the number one thats why I'm so happy that my design was picked as the Over-All Winner. The Contest was up for one month and you can submit multiple entries and I have submitted 17 entries, after that 1 month submission of entries there was a 3 days internal-judging in which the criterias are: Creativity, Originality, Over-all presentation and people's votes. After the 3 days internal judging they have picked the top 20 out of 400 entries and luckily for me one of my entry got on the top 20, imagine that out of 17 that i made only one got in. after the announcement of the top 20 there was a 10 days voting period for the members of the website who conducted the contest and on the votes I was only fourth because i was still a new member on the website and the one that is leading is already a member for one year therefore she had more friends to ask and vote for her entry but good thing that the voting will not decide the over-all winner. And on the judgementday I was surprized when i saw my name and my entry being the first place! I was so happy, Now I'm using my new iMac right now. These are the prizes, for the 1st place its a brand new 21.5" iMac, Second Place, a BlackBerry Bold and for the Third place an ipod touch.
