Coca-Cola's first ever Plant Billboard in the Philippines

Coca-Cola's first ever Plant Billboard in the Philippines

Personally I haven't seen yet the eco-friendly billboard of Coca-Cola, I only heard about it from my girlfriend and so I tried searching the net for some images to see what it look like and I found one and decided to blog about this, I've also asked some friends and searched also in the net about this.

The Philippines first ever 60-by-60 foot eco-friendly Billboard is located at EDSA-Forbes area, This was a partnership between Coca-Cola Philippines and Word Wide Fund For Nature or WWF.

As you can see the billboard has the well known silhouette of the Coca-Cola Bottle and around it are the Fukien tea plant with a copy that says "This Billboard Absorbs Air Pollution.".
Coca-Cola used the Fukien tea plant because it can absorb air pollution and each plant can absorb 13 pounds of carbon dioxide a year. The Fukien plants are placed in 3,600 pots made from old coke bottles. Now this is what a Billboard should be like, maybe if the other companies will also make an eco-friendly Billboard along EDSA, that would lessen the air-pollution in the metro.

what are your opinions about this eco-friendly billboard?comment down below

And Because of this Coca-Cola Billboard I just remembered my childhood days wherein I always buy some coke at the vending machine coca-cola, just sharing :)

Wow, myk! This is one of the best billboard I've ever seen so far! It's not just an eco-friendly billboard, but rather, a giant air filter! Tnx for sharing! =)
